Shooter Had Lots of Ammo

LA International—Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti said the LAX shooter had enough ammo to kill a hundred or more people in Terminal 3. He’s been identified as Paul A. Ciancia, 23, originally of New Jersey. Investigators have not given a motive or released details of the incident that started at security screening and ended at the far end of the terminal. A TSA officer manning the credential-check podium was killed, the first TSA screener to die in the line of duty. The shooter was wounded, but his exact condition has not been revealed. Terminals 1 and 2 at LAX are beginning to reopen, but Terminal 3 is still closed for investigation. Authorities say 746 flights have been affected.

-Andrew Cuomo, resigning as governor of New York after accusations of sexual harassment
