Boston: ABC and NBC News report that Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is awake and answering questions by handwriting. He is said to be unable to speak because of a gunshot wound to his throat.
Boston’s police commissioner says Tsarnaev and his deceased brother, Tamerlan, had a large cache of weapons that suggested they might be planning more attacks after the Boston Marathon bombing. Commissioner Ed Davis said in television interviews that officers found unexploded homemade bombs and 250 rounds of ammunition at the site of a shootout in which Tsarnaev died. They also found multiple weapons, including an assault rifle.
Authorities have released thermal image video of the capture of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. He can be seen lying on the floor of a boat in a backyard. A robot with a mechanical arm peels back the winter shrink wrap covering the boat while several flash-bang grenades explode against the windshield. Eventually Tsarnaev gets up and out of the boat.

Tribune owns eight major papers valued at about $623 million and would be a small morsel for Koch Industries to swallow. Koch earns $115 billion a year and would use the papers to spread Charles and David Koch’s message of smaller government and less taxes.

Witherspoon kept getting out of the car against the orders of the officer, so he gave her a set of bracelets to match her husband’s.
