Bones of Contention: The Vatican for the first time yesterday publicly displayed a handful of bones some church leaders believe to be the remains of St. Peter. The relics were supposedly discovered during 1939 excavations of grottoes where dozens of popes are buried. Diggers found a monument with a casket bearing a Greek legend that said “Petros eni,” or “Peter is here.” One of the workers is said to have stored the bones in a shoebox. But no pope has ever officially declared the bones to be those of St. Peter and some archeologists find it doubtful.

It's Been Said

"Christians, get out and vote, just this time. You won't have to do it anymore. Four more years, you know what, it will be fixed, it will be fine, you won't have to vote anymore, my beautiful Christians. I love you Christians. I'm a Christian. I love you, get out, you gotta get out and vote. In four years, you don't have to vote again, we'll have it fixed so good you're not going to have to vote."
