The Cosby Show: Allegations of rape against comedian Bill Cosby resurfaced this week. A woman named Barbara Bowman said she’s not giving up her claim that Cosby, now 77, repeatedly raped her in 1985 when she was a 17-year-old aspiring actress. “I’m certain now that he drugged and raped me,” Bowman wrote in The Washington Post about the gentle father-figure of comedy.

Simon: “This question gives me no pleasure, Mr. Cosby, but there have been serious allegations raised about you in recent days.”

Cosby: [Silence]

Simon: “You’re shaking your head no. I’m in the news business. I have to ask the question. Do you have any response to those charges?”

It's Been Said

"Christians, get out and vote, just this time. You won't have to do it anymore. Four more years, you know what, it will be fixed, it will be fine, you won't have to vote anymore, my beautiful Christians. I love you Christians. I'm a Christian. I love you, get out, you gotta get out and vote. In four years, you don't have to vote again, we'll have it fixed so good you're not going to have to vote."
