Trump Calls Putin “Crazy”

CRAZY: President Trump called Russia’s Vladimir Putin “crazy” following a third night of heavy missile and drone attacks on Ukraine.
“I don’t know what the hell happened to Putin,” Trump said. “I’ve known him a long time. Always gotten along with him, but he’s sending rockets into cities and killing people, and I don’t like it at all.”
Trump is finally getting to know the Vladimir Putin the rest of the world knows.
On his Truth Social account Trump said, “I’ve always said that he wants ALL of Ukraine, not just a piece of it, and maybe that’s proving to be right, but if he does, it will lead to the downfall of Russia!” Trump says this like he’s the only one who realized Putin wants all of Ukraine even though Putin’s invasion was an attempt to take all of Ukraine.
Some Republicans in Congress are calling for “crippling” sanctions on Russia.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters today that, “This is a very crucial moment, which is associated, of course, with the emotional overload of everyone absolutely and with emotional reactions.”
HAPPY HOLIDAYS: There’s something about a holiday … Thanksgiving, Christmas … that brings out the angry man in Donald Trump.
Yesterday on Memorial day Trump posted on his Truth Social, “HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY TO ALL, INCLUDING THE SCUM THAT SPENT THE LAST FOUR YEARS TRYING TO DESTROY OUR COUNTRY THROUGH WARPED RADICAL LEFT MINDS …” He went on for 171 all capitalized words, none of which honored the country’s war dead on Memorial Day.
In a speech delivered at Arlington national cemetery, Trump praised the military and his own achievements. “We certainly know what we owe to them,” Trump said. “Their valor gave us the freest, greatest and most noble republic ever to exist on the face of the earth — a republic that I am fixing after a long and hard four years.”
“We’re doing so very well right now, considering the circumstances,” went on. “And we’ll do record-setting better with time. We will do better than we’ve ever done as a nation, better than ever before. I promise you that.”
Trump also chose yesterday to threaten that he wants to take $3 billion away from Harvard University and distribute it to trade schools across the country. About Harvard he wrote that, “We are still waiting for the Foreign Student Lists from Harvard so that we can determine, after a ridiculous expenditure of BILLIONS OF DOLLARS, how many radicalized lunatics, troublemakers all, should not be let back into our Country.” He wants to know what foreign students say and think so he can weed out the ones who disagree with him. He said, “But have no fear, the Government will, in the end, WIN!”
BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE:
President Trump yesterday pardoned former Virginia Sheriff Scott Jenkins who was convicted in December of taking more than $70,000 in bribes in exchange for appointing local businessmen as auxiliary deputy sheriffs. Two of the men to whom he paid bribes were undercover FBI agents.
Trump in a Truth Social post yesterday said; “Sheriff Scott Jenkins, his wife Patricia, and their family have been dragged through HELL by a Corrupt and Weaponized Biden DOJ. In fact, during his trial, when Sheriff Jenkins tried to offer exculpatory evidence to support himself, the Biden Judge, Robert Ballou, refused to allow it, shut him down, and then went on a tirade.”
Trump is on a campaign to reverse anything he believes was touched by former President Joe Biden. He said in his post, Jenkins “is a wonderful person, who was persecuted by the Radical Left ‘monsters,’ and ‘left for dead.’”
BECAUSE IT WAS THERE: A group of men went from London last week to the top of Mt. Everest and back in just a week completing an expedition that normally takes weeks. The climbers shortened the timeline by breathing xenon gas, which is believed to have allowed them to quickly adapt to the thin air at altitude, allowing them to speed through the adjustment period.
Reaching the peak of Everest is already like being in the boarding line for an airplane. The rapid scaling of the mountain has set off a controversy over whether the feat can be reduced to a quick tourist stop.
THE OBIT PAGE: Former New York Rep. Charles Rangel, a fixture in Congress who served for 46 years and was the first Black member to serve on the ways and Means Committee, but was censured for an ethics violation, has died at age 96. Rangel was found to have violated House gift rules by accepting corporate-sponsored trips to the Caribbean. Even with the charges pending, he had been overwhelmingly re-elected.
THE SPIN RACK: As many as 53 people were injured yesterday when a driver in Liverpool, England plowed into a parade of people celebrating Liverpool’s Premier League soccer championship. No one was killed in the crowd that numbered in the hundreds of thousands. — A manhunt is underway in northern Arkansas for former small-town police chief Grant Hardin, who is serving time for first-degree murder and rape but snuck out of a high-security prison dressed in a fake law enforcement uniform. — The internet is abuzz about a video clip of French President Emmanuel Macron being shoved in the face by his wife moments before the couple got out of the presidential jet. Macron said the video had caught him and his wife “bickering and rather, joking around,” something, he said, “we often do.”
BELOW THE FOLD: The European Space Agency this week plans to beam into space a live performance by the Vienna Symphony Orchestra of Johann Strauss’s popular orchestral piece “By the Beautiful Blue Danube.” You can just imagine that somebody or something out there would prefer Taylor Swift.
